The Theatre Emporium presents Magic of the Movies
Sunday 29th April

Sunday 29th April   2pm

A celebration of film

A performance medley of scenes from loved motion pictures, devised works and physical theatre. Honouring the art of cinematography. Exploring the industry and the memorable characters formed. Concluding with a spotlight on the beautiful musical scores of the great John Williams.

Displayed by students at The Theatre Emporium School of Acting.

Directed by Victoria Charles Saker

The Theatre Emporium is a Performing Arts School based in Ipswich, with an original, fresh, exciting approach to Theatre for 2-18 year olds - wanting to learn and develop new skills. They've put on many shows at other venues but this is the first time they will have performed here at The Riverside. They chose our theatre for their production because of the theme and title, Magic of the Movies. What better place to perform a show about films... in a cinema!

We are delighted to welcome them here and are looking forward to a fabulous performance.
